Sarah Dacey
Soprano

Sarah Dacey studied Music at the University of York and Singing at the Royal Academy of Music. She is a member of the critically acclaimed Juice Vocal Ensemble and has also performed with the London Contemporary Orchestra, the Heritage Orchestra, The Octandre Ensemble and the Gavin Bryars Ensemble. Recent operatic performances include premiering Elspeth Brooke's Dot, Squiggle & Rest at the Royal Opera House, Hannah Kendall’s The Knife of Dawn at the Roundhouse and Stravinsky’s The Rake’s Progress at the Aix-en-Provence Opera Festival. Her debut solo album of contemporary song with pianist Belinda Jones entitled Calliope was released in 2017 and featured on Radio 3’s Record Review. Sarah is also a composer and arranger and her most recent commission Liquid History was performed by Gestalt Arts at the Totally Thames Festival 2017 in Reading, Kew and at the Museum of London and in 2018 at the Maritime Museum.
